Film Synopsis
Trishaw takes a peek at the lives of the residents of Chinatown and their response to their changing landscape as a result of Singapore’s rapid modernization.
The story revolves around a trishaw rider, Heng, whose trishaw gets damaged in an accident with a taxi. Heng decides to repair his trishaw himself when it so happens that his regular mechanic has pass away. But as a result of poor repairing, his trishaw becomes unsafe to ride, and he soon loses his regular customers. When even a close friend abandons his trishaw to take the taxi instead, Heng is forced to take action against his enemy: the taxis who have crossed his path too much.
